Track your hobby from sprue to tabletop.

Our journey

A look at how TableForge is evolving month by month.

January

Where it started

We started TableForge with a simple goal: to create the journal of the Warhammer 40k hobby experience, from sprue to tabletop ready and beyond.

That same month, we launched our alpha focused on unit tracking, alongside early army and battle creation. We also opened the beta waitlist and began telling our story on social media while building in public.

February

Opening the beta

In February, we launched the beta and welcomed our first wave of waitlist users into the app.

From the start, the focus was on learning quickly, listening closely, and actively seeking feedback from the community to shape what TableForge should become.

March

Building the hobby experience

March was about deepening the experience and expanding beyond basic tracking.

We introduced closed groups, paint recipes, importing units from third-party tooling, model paint tracking, the unit gallery experience, and hobby statistics to help users organise, track, and enjoy their collections in a richer way.

April

A step forward

April marks another step forward for TableForge.

We’re launching a refreshed UI, a new website, and the first version of Events, with more still to come across the rest of the month.

About us

Why we are building TableForge.

Built by hobbyists

TableForge is being built by two hobbyists who wanted a better way to track painting progress, organise armies, record games, and stay motivated in the hobby.

Our goal is to create a home for hobbyists who want to move models from sprue to tabletop and enjoy the journey along the way.
